About

Welcome to our beautiful hideaway overlooking the Noosa Hinterlands. Immerse yourself in the tranquil haven of your personal retreat delivering a calming environment.

Nestled within the captivating beauty of the Noosa Hinterland, this remarkable property spans three lush acres with meticulously planned and mature landscaping. Enjoy fruit trees and vibrant florals, offering a precious gift to be enjoyed and shared by everyone.

Our traditional Queenslander-style homestead is located at the end of a quiet mountain-top lane, behind an attractive, secure gate- a private relaxed environment ready for you to enjoy. We invite you to look around the property and make use of the lower lawn area which is located just through the red door off the main driveway. Feel free to play a game of Crocket or relax on the lawn. Nearby is the chicken coop as well.

In 2019, we added an apartment on Mooloolaba’s beautiful beach to the Retreat, the Asiatic Suite at Nautilus Resort.

Russ manages the B&B, and Robert maintains the grounds and our tea and coffee farm, Tinbeerwah Tea Company.   We are now largely self-sufficient with rain water and solar power, and have automatic clean LPG backup power for the inevitable power outages here in the bush.  Our drinking water is pristine rainwater, triple filtered, with no chemicals found in city water, but we can provide bottled water on request.

We are keen to introduce visitors to our amazing rainforest eco-system and tea plantation, and to meet people from all around the world and share a story or two.
